The United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON), on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Iraq Programme, is inviting interested vendors to submit an Expression of Interest for the anticipated solicitation exercise to establish a contract for the Rehabilitation of Damaged Houses in Kani Ido village, Sinjar District, Ninewa governorate, Iraq.      The scope of work involves the rehabilitation of houses that incurred damages in various villages within the Sinjar district, Iraq. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following tasks: 1. Removing all damaged parts and disposing of material at a dumping location approved by local authorities. 2. Repairing, replacing, and constructing damaged housing parts such as, but not limited to, roof opening casting, floor casting, and concrete block walls. 3. Maintaining existing house components such as doors, windows, toilets, etc. 4. Performing finishing works such as plastering, painting, installation of new doors, installation of new windows, etc. 5. Supplying and installing WASH items such as toilet seats, wash basins, sinks, sewage pipes, water pipes, water tanks, etc. 6. Supplying and installing electrical items such as electrical cables, sockets, switches, distribution boards and breakers, lighting fixtures, etc.
