Description
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified vendors for the provision of the Airfield Ground Handling Services to the UN tasked aircraft at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Mombasa Moi International Airport and Wajir International Airport. UNSOS shall have the rights to extend the service area to additional airports within the Republic of Kenya. a) The Contractor shall provide Ground Handling Services, including provision of all related equipment required for Passenger and Cargo / Baggage processing / handling and Aircraft Ground Support to the UN tasked aircraft in Kenya and to ensure works and services are performed as per applicable international standards, the United Nations Human Rights Due Diligence Policy, the United Nations Protocol on Allegations of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse involving Implementing Partners and the United Nations’ duty of care. b) The Contractor will be obliged to deliver the services in accordance with international standards, including international human rights law, the terms and conditions laid out in the contract and to the satisfaction of UNSOS. Contract Approach: UNSOS anticipate to established resulting Contract for an initial period of three (3) years with UNSOS sole option to extend the contract by two (2) additional one (1) - year periods. Services should commence on or about 09 August 2025. The detailed scope of requirements will be provided at the solicitation stage which is planned to be issued in the month of May 2025.
