Description
1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the supply and delivery of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) on "as and when required" basis to UNFICYP Locations. 2. The successful Contractor shall be required to provide and maintain two (2) bulk storage containers with a capacity of 2,000 to 5,000 litres each, to be located at the Blue Beret Camp, United Nations Protected Area, Nicosia and two (2) bulk storage containers with a capacity of 2,000 to 5,000 litres each, to be located at Ledra Palace Hotel, Nicosia. The cylinders shall be available in 10kg and 50kg sizes. The initial cylinder delivery shall be 70 X10kg and 50X50kg. The estimated annual quantities for bulk LPG is 19,000kg and the estimated annual quantities for cylinders is 15,500kg. 3. The Contract shall include, provision of maintenance and repair services for Bulk Tanks and LPG Pipelines for the following locations: • Bulk Tanks - International Cafeteria, UNPA, Old Nicosia Airport, Nicosia (Republic of Cyprus (ROC)) • Bulk Tanks - Ledra Palace Hotel, Nicosia (ROC) • LPG Pipeline - San Marin Camp, Scouriotissa, Nicosia (ROC) • LPG Pipeline - Camp Prebyna, Athienou, Larnaca (ROC) • LPG Pipeline - CP 10, Derinia, Famagusta (ROC) • LPG Pipeline - OP126 Pyla, Larnaca (ROC) • LPG Pipeline - Camp General Stefanik (CGS), Famagusta (North Cyprus) • LPG Pipeline - Roca Camp, Lefka (North Cyprus) 4. The resulting Contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years, at UNFICYP sole option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1 years). 5. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information including complete company details and experience profile using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The interest shall be sent to the attention of Mr. Ahmet Tolon either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email unficyp-procurement@un.org no later than Friday, 25 April 2025. 6. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. 7. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI.
