Description

The UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa, through its Education for Health and Well-Being (EHW) Unit, is implementing two key programs: the O3Plus program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science, and Technology Development (MHTEISTD) in 12 higher and tertiary education institutions, and the Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future (O3) program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE). While implementation is primarily through government structures, partnerships with implementing partners can enhance efficiency.

For effective program implementation and to ensure the reach of target populations, UNESCO collaborates with organizations that share its mandate.  The Expression Of Interest is a crucial step in identifying partners with the capacity to implement various thematic areas of work bringing efficiency to the achievement of results.

Objectives of the Expression Of Interest are:

  • To identify established organizations/partners with relevant capacities and expertise in the listed areas.
  • To develop a roster of qualified implementing partners based on the thematic work areas, ensuring a readily accessible pool of organizations for future program implementation.
