New clarification added: Dear Bidders，Please find below clarifications offered to clarification questions received from potential bidders:Question:The closest NEW HOLLAND combine harvester model is AF4088HD, 210hp, please confirm whether it is acceptable.Clarification:Bidders are strictly advised t osubmit their bids inline with the terms and conditions of the ITB and submit products that substantiall meet the minimum technical requirements of both Lot 1 & Lot 2 . Question: Since 2022, China has begun to implement National IV environmental emission standards, and the original small NEW HOLLAND agricultural machinery with less than 150 horsepower no longer meets the environmental requirements, is eliminated, and cannot be sold and exported. We have matched the specifications as required in the bidding document. The closest NEW HOLLAND model is T1504, 150hp. Please confirm whether you can accept it.Clarification:Bidders are strictly advised t osubmit their bids inline with the terms and conditions of the ITB and submit products that substantiall meet the minimum technical requirements of both Lot 1 & Lot 2.Question: Manuals and Catalogue - All operation manuals required. Kindly prepare and submit your bid accordingly.1) Question: We are very pleased to participate in your bid invitation , But you made it very specific and you only invite manufacturer of NEWHOLLAND Tractors and Combine Harvesters . So does it mean you need only the named brand in the bid document or is there any other clarification that this bid is open for all manufacturers?Clarification:The requests under both Lot 1 & Lot 2 are for a specific brand of New Holland. Bidders are requested to submit their bids accordingly (for New Holland Tractors and Combine Harvesters).2) Question After we reviewed the Brand requested and previous answers provided to clarification requests, We would like to forward an information regarding a brand and request a confirmation. The manufacturer CNH Industrial designs, produces, and sells agricultural machinery (Case IH and New Holland brand families) globally. CNH Industrial shares technology between its brands (NEWHOLLAND and CASEIH) to capitalize on opportunities for growth. The company also develops alternate fuels and engine technologies to achieve sustainable farming. Accordingly, the technical requirements you outlined to NEWHOLLAND can fully be met by CASEIH Brand which belong to the same manufacturer. Could you confirm us to proceed participating in the bid through CASEIH brand too? Clarification:The requirement is specifically for New Holland brand machines. Bidders are, therefore, advised to submit their bids for New Holland Tractors and combine harvesters. Other brands will not be considered under this ITB.3) Question: Please specify whether the delivery method is DAP or FCA. Calarification:Bidders are requested to submit their bids under both DAP (including customs clearance and offloading at the consignee warehouse) and FCA port of origin (Incoterm 2020). UNOPS will award contract on either  on FCA or DAP basis (as indicated in Section III  and Particular section of this ITB). Can we quote other brands on the basis of meeting the basic parameters?Clarification: The  tractors and combine harvesters need to be NEWHOLLAND. Bidders are strictly advised to note that  'Alternative and equivalent brands' are not acceptable.Question 3:  Please explain the purpose of the tractor. If you want New Holland Brand strictly why not do single sourcing direct from the factory instead and negotiate better terms? Clarification: Yes, the requirement for a specific brand of New HOLLAND Tractors.
