This tender is open to all manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and traders of pharmaceuticals.
Please be informed that for some of the products solicited, bidders may be allowed to provide between one to two back-up supply source(s). Please refer to the Product Form in Section X, 6 for the number of back-up supply source(s) allowed for each specific item. Products allowing more than one supply source are labelled b or c accordingly.
Bidders are allowed to quote for each product the following price components:
- Short FCA/FOB Delivery Lead Time (maximum 6 weeks) with no Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
- Short FCA/FOB Delivery Lead Time (maximum 6 weeks) with MOQ
- Long FCA/FOB Delivery Lead Time (maximum 12 weeks) with no MOQ
- Long FCA/FOB Delivery Lead Time (maximum 12 weeks) with MOQ
However, please note that the price quoted for each product shall remain the same, regardless of the number of supply source(s) allowed for that each particular item.
Offers can be submitted in hard copy with soft copy in a USB/CD by mail/courier in accordance to the guidelines provided in 18.1.1 or offers can be submitted in electronic version via email in accordance to guidelines provided in 18.1.2. Please be advised that both options are acceptable, but only one method shall be used by suppliers.
For this specific tender process, due to the large supporting documentation required for pharmaceuticals that needs to be organized, UNFPA’s preferred method will be submission in hard copy and the soft copy in a USB/CD through mail/courier.
Regardless whether you are submitting vial mail/courier or via email, the following file organizing structure shall be adhered to:
Supplier Name/Item No.+Item No.2+UNFPA Atlas Item ID
Please refer to page 17 of the bidding documents for more information.
If you are interested in this tender, kindly read the bid documents carefully. Your bid shall reach UNFPA’s reception no later than 29th April 2014 at 13.00h Copenhagen time. Requested samples form part of the bid and shall reach UNFPA’s reception on the same day and time. Samples should be sent separately from bid documentation, in case samples are delayed in customs.
