PROVISION OF CASH SUPPLY SERVICES FOR CASH & VOUCHER

UNWFP Somalia hereby seeks to pre-qualify Service Providers with reliable experience in the field of Cash Supply Services for Cash & Voucher at household level in Somalia.

WFP is currently operational in Somaliland, Puntland, Central, Benadir and South regions of Somalia with Area Offices established in Hargeisa, Bossaso, Galkayo, Mogadishu and Dolow. While the office locations are the primary focus of the financial activities, WFP would require Cash Supply Services for Cash & Voucher on cash delivery to the beneficiaries and on telephone mobile money transfer at household level. The cash to be delivered is expected to be as low as USD 5 across Somalia.

In this case, the beneficiaries are Somali nationals located in different regions inside Somalia. Therefore, the Cash Supply Service Provider must have the capacity to go and deliver the cash to the payees directly and ensure the mobile money transfer system is efficient and of latest technology.

Eligible service providers, who meet all of the pre-qualification criteria in this EOI, may be invited to the Request for Proposal (RFP). The invitation will be open to any service providers who are able to provide reliable cash supply services to WFP offices in Somalia to all the beneficiaries as will be provided to them.
