Description

The WFP Supply Chain Division seeks to purchase scanning hardware and afferent software for the Track & Trace Project.

As part of the Track & Trace project, and specifically focused on the traceability capabilities, it has been identified as a relatively quick process to implement scanning technologies in all WFP supply chain operations. The endeavour, while focused on hardware for the first part, inclusive of implementation of coding (QR codes or others) and physical scanning tools (such as phones, scanners, and other devices), also contains a software aspect, which includes the data packages gathered, consolidated, and sent through the scanners into WFP systems (current and or future-state).

The EOI is intended to identify the best solution provider on the market for WFP operations to implement scanning technologies and prepare the software part of commodity traceability, which currently uses an SAP-based solution (for warehouse / inventory management), which will come once the overall tracking system has been selected.
