New clarification added: Question:After checking the issued RFQ /2024/53231, kindly ask you to provide us with your answer for our below questions:1) According to Delivery Requirements by RFQ /2024/53231 (Bidders shall be able to deliver the trucks immediately or at the best and shortest delivery period (less than 40 days) after the Contract/ P.O signature. delivery period will be considered in the bids evaluation) . based on the high quantities per item (for tractor heads and flatbed semitrailer) specially for items 1,2,3,4,5. Please note that for producing the tractor heads and flatbed and shipping them, it will take 6 months (depending on the ordered Quantities). for that please inform us if we offer the delivery time per lot with a period of time will not disqualify us from competitionAnswer:1) The fastest delivery and most technically accepted offer will be considered , the supplier to provide the time table of delivery based on their stck , so you can insert what is ready for delivery with the quantities and what is the planned for delivery to cover the whole estimated quantitiy.2) Please clarify the delivery plan for the 330 units (based on the lots) over the span of 24/36 months which is the duration of the LTAAnswer:2) the quantities are vary as it depends on the market that why we insert the estimated quantity and make the result of the tender to be an LTA instead of PO, our plan is to meet our partners request based on the actual need of the goods.3) Based on point 4.7 from the LTA(The Contractor shall maintain or provide a service organization reasonably constituted to handle requests from UNOPS or its clients for technical assistance, maintenance, service, repairs and overhaul of the Goods)Also you request to have one year warranty for all 8 items . New clarification added: Dears,kindly advise us about the followings clarifications: Regarding the submission date: in order to offer the optimum solution kindly extend the deadline of mentioned tender.Regarding the awarding: Is it possible to get partial award ?Regarding the payment:1- Is it possible to change it to one of the following:A- Payment by Bank letter of guarantee (deferred payment 30 Days after delivery).B- Get down payment against bank guarantee, the balance to be paid 30 days after delivery.2- Is it possible to get partial payment (depend on the partial delivery).Regardng the general conditions of contract:many articles on the contract itself & on the GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT entitle UNOPS to terminate the contract or to reduce the quantity, below example of these articles:kindly advise if we can exclude it from contract because the requested quantities is big.Answer:The deadline has been extended , the bidder to submit the delivery time for the requested quantity and insert the partial delivery per lot. the bidder must submitt 100% per lot (not per tender) The advance payment against Bank guarantte will be processed after awarding and after recieving the Bank guaranttee for the actual delivered quantity and partial payment is accepted based on actual partial delivery and we are not allowed to change the general conditions of contract. Question:Adding to our last clarification, Is it possible to deliver the units that we win immediately when it arrived to our warehouses at ZFZ, or should we wait until notice form UNPOS, if we should wait what is the maximum period that we will be liable to deliver the units?Answer:After receiving the award and signing the contract the contractor can start the delivery and the delivery plan is based on the supplier quotations. Question:In the documentation submission part, first section, it was mentioned that the turn over needs to be above 5Mio annually in the past 5 years; initially, will this be reconsidered as an amount noting that the past five years had several consequanes due to the circumstances, as well as there are other requests that would confirm the financial compatbility. Secondly, will JVs and/or sub-contractors be considered as a combined financial statements covering the challenging request. its worth mentioning that this is an IDIQ contracts approach, lastly, will this finacial statement request (5Mio) cover the trucks-based businesses or overall company performance?Answer:The JV is part of the evaluation and the subcontractor is not. Questions:Refer to subjected ITB RFQ/2024/53231, Kindly share the refrence pictures of Flatbed Trailes Fixed Type and Movable sides. Answer:No Pictures as we refer to the technicall specification for the evaluation. Question:Given the number of assets that required this will require sourcing from multiple parties across the region, this obviously takes time and resource. Would it be possible to provide a further 7 days to the deadline, this will ensure all offerors can provide a more substantive offer.Answer:Noted , but kindly submit the offers but the mentioned deadline.
