Assignment’s objectives To validate and contextualize the ILO In-Company Training for Apprentices and to roll it out with selected national partners (suggestion FEI and relevant I/NGOs) in Egypt.
To achieve the above objectives this assignment will be carried out in phases each phase having specific tasks/activities:
Phase I: Validation and Contextualization of the Training Modules
Activities/tasks:
• Organize and facilitate a consultative meeting with selected relevant national stakeholders to /validate and complement the existing training package (agenda, invitation management etc.).
• Identify key partners (suggestion FEI, private sector companies and other chambers) to act as the host of the training roll-out.
• Get confirmation of interested Implementing Partners (IPs).
• Pilot the content outlined in the manual with in-company trainers and assess their validity for the Egyptian context.

• Adapt the existing training module to the Egyptian context and the specific needs of PROSPECTS beneficiaries, and develop materials (such as presentation and learning documents) for the rollout.
Phase II: Capacity development delivery
Activities/tasks:
• Organize an awareness-raising meeting about the training with PROSPECTS IPs identified in Phase I.
• Secure buy-in from possible host partners to be capacitated.
• Develop a dissemination plan including how many companies should be included in the pilot, how many in-company trainers to be reached and how the experience be shared with other associations and NGOs. The plan should also include a financing plan (costs of the training and possible contributions from private sector companies in-kind (e.g. venue or financial contributions) for the training to be updated based on the implementation experience.
• Plan and coordinate the training session(s) for the different implementation partners jointly with ILO HQ staff.
• Based on the training package, deliver training to facilitators/master trainers from selected partners on the manual.
• Evaluate the rollout to the partners and if relevant include any feedback in the training material design.
Phase III: Roll out to in-company trainers in selected companies
• Support IPs in the identification of 5 pilot enterprises to roll out the training.
• Provide guidance and quality assurance to implementation partners/facilitators to roll out the training.
• Conduct evaluations and gather feedback from in-company trainers about the quality and usefulness of the training.
• Collect feedback from the apprentices about changes in their in-company training.
• Develop a sustainability and commercialization plan for the service.

The consultant is expected to use read and understand knowledge products and tools and use them as guidance in their review and design the training programmes.
