This ITB refers to the Supply of laboratory equipment (Part I - thermostat-incubators, drying oven, and water baths) for the Committee for Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health (SES) of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The requirement consists of the following 5 lots:
Bidders are allowed to quote prices for one or more lots identified in this tender. However, the Bidders must offer 100% of the quantities specified for each lot. Evaluation will be done separately for each lot.

New clarification added: Question 36 : In your updated files, As for delivery in Form D, you said "a) First batch consisting of at least 25% of the total ordered quantity must be delivered within 30 calendar days; b)The remaining ordered quantity must be delivered within 120 calendar days; c) The Bidder shall provide a delivery schedule with exact number of batches and timelines for each batch." But in DRAFT CONTRACT UPDATED, you said"a. First batch consisting of at least 25% or more of the total ordered quantity must be delivered within 60 calendar days; b. The remaining ordered quantity must be delivered within 120 calendar days; The Bidder shall provide a delivery schedule with exact number of batches and timelines for each batch." It is a contradiction. As a result, we think we should follow the draft contract instead of the FORM D, because we can't finish 25% of the total ordered quantity delivered within 30 calendar days, it is impossible. moreover, according to your first version of the tender, it also should be " at least 25% or more of the total ordered quantity must be delivered within 60 calendar days;". UNOPS as a UN subsidiary organ, is exempt from all direct taxes, except charges for public utility services, and is exempt from customs restrictions, duties, and charges of a similar nature in respect of articles imported or exported for its official use.2. This project is co-financed by ADB and AIIB as state external debt. Per the provisions of Article 483 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as amended on 28 December 2023 through the Law № ЗРУ-891, supply of goods and services within the framework of projects fully or partially financed from international financial institutions as state external debt are exempt from Value Added Tax until 01 January 2028.3. Based on the foregoing, all bids must be submitted net of Value Added Tax, other direct taxes and customs duties for the imported items. New clarification added: Question 17# Could you please confirm whether this tender requires a sole representative of the manufacturer, meaning that each manufacturer can have only one representative?Answer 17# According to Section II: Schedule of Requirements, Section II.2a - Manufacturer’s Authorization, bidders must be either the manufacturer of the offered goods or a sole representative of the manufacturer to UNOPS. In cases where bids for a specific make and model originate from multiple appointed representatives (bidders), UNOPS reserves the right to select only one bid.

New clarification added: Question # 15 Could you kindly clarify the specific location or address of the CPT destination, that is, where the supplier will actually deliver the goods to?Answer #15 CPT Tashkent. Any mode of inland or air transport is acceptable, and it is up to the bidder to decide which one to use.

New clarification added: Revision Question #14 Is the bidder responsible for conducting pre-loading inspection and obtaining GOST-UZB certification for the products upon delivery?Revision Answer #14 The responsibility for conducting pre-loading inspection for the products upon handover to the Freight Forwarder or Carrier rests with the Supplier. Responsibility for obtaining the Certificate of Compliance from Gosstandard of the Republic of Uzbekistan rests with the Consignee of the goods.
