Provision of Pathology services in Kinshasa - Democratic Republic of Congo

REQUEST OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 1. The United Nations Organization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) seeks Expression of Interest from duly registred and licensed companies for the Provision of Pathology Services in case of death of UN staff on an "as and when required basis" in Kinshasa, DRC. 3. MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly for the establishment of a contract for an initial period of two (02) years, with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods, i.e., (2+1+1), at the discretion of MONUSCO and accordingly intends to issue solicitation documents to those companies who would express their interest. The interested companies are requested to complete UN Vendor registration form, preferably for Level 1 in the vendor database accessible at www.ungm.org. 2. The selected contractor will provide the Pathology services required, i.e. preparation of remains, autopsy, embalming and coffin sealing, toxicology and related services, including the processing of death certificates, related documents and authorizations from the country's local authorities. 4. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of a proposal. 5. MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the Solicitation Documents. MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the deadline indicated below. 6.
