THIS ITB is OPEN for LOCAL vendors in IRAQ only FAO is inviting you to submit offers to the mentioned ITB for the supply of tiers & rims as per the details in the attached ITB documents. Please pay attention to the following key important information: - The deadlines of receiving the offers (offers must be received before the lock date of the ITB) - The offers documents to be sent in 2 packages or parts of documents: technical documents and the second part is financial form. - Please read carefully the main ITB document regarding ALL the documents needed for the technical part and what type of information needed in each document. Save each file/ document with a name not to exceed 4 WORDS only like the following examples : Annex I - Specifications & price form, Annex II- bid submission form, Annex III- FAO GTC, Dealership certificate, Company profile, list of branches/ representatives, ....etc - Please submit ALL required documents mentioned in the contents of the offer documents and failure to provide any of the mandatory documents, may expose your offer to be disqualified. - Please read the technical evaluation criteria carefully. This criterion is the basis in which your offer will pass or fail. - You are not allowed to change the design of the financial Form - FAO submitted some annexes in Word format for easy filling by the bidders. FAO shall run a double check on the returned forms. Any unauthorized changes to the original texts in the word forms shall expose the bidder offer for disqualifying. - FAO uses an inspection company to run pre-shipping inspection in the warehouses of the contractor upon sole decision of FAO , FAO has the rite to run a site visit to the supplier warehouses as part of the evaluation process. Any delivered goods that are not matching the supplier offer and the PO will be rejected. Important Note : The purpose from this ITB is to establish long term agreement with a vendor for the provision of tiers and Run-flat initially for 2 years and subject for extension for additional 2 years upon the satisfactory performance of the supplier and the operational needs of FAO. Based on that the vendor should maintain his prices fixed during the validity of the agreement without change. FAO has the right to add any additional items as long as they fall within the scope of the requirements under this ITB and the proposed LTA after the screening of the prices for the additional items in the market and shall the price falls within the average market price of the required new items. The quantities shown in Annex I, column D, are estimated quantities for the expected first Purchase order, however, the unit price of each item (per one piece) shall be considered as the basis of any PO in future that will be raised by FAO to the contractor. The concluded LTA shall not be considered as an obligation on FAO to buy any quantity from the contractor. FAO has an obligation on buying the quantities that shall be shared with the contractor in a form of signed purchase order where the terms and conditions of the agreement shall be applied to on any call of contract (PO) under the proposed LTA. The unit price shall include the installation of any tier purchased under the LTA if required by FAO. The vendor shall provide the Scaling (Mezanieh) for any installed tire or the whole car as FREE of charge to FAO. - Other UN organizations in Iraq has the right to piggyback on this LTA and raise purchase orders bases on the same terms and conditions of FAO LTA
