New clarification added: Question:SECTION II: EVALUATION METHOD AND CRITERIAPart 1: Proposed methodology, approach and implementation plan point 1.3 - page 5 of 22 and Point 3.9 - page 22 of 22 - Insurance Requirements: It is mentioned in these points that we have to submit a confirmation letter or (draft policy) from an insurer stating that the required insurance policies will be provided to the bidder, if selected.Please note that the Consultant usually is requested to provide a professional indemnity insurance only; as his employees are covered under the Social Security Corporation program for any accident. On the other hand, the Contractor of the project is the responsible party to provide all risks insurance and the public liability insurance for the whole project and that is the norm in Jordan. Accordingly, is it acceptable not to provide all risks insurance and the public liability insurance by the awarded Consultant? please confirm.UNOPS reply:The Insurance policy shall cover:- Professional Indemnity- Public Liability- Employer Liability

New clarification added: Question:Design Certificate: Can you please advise on the required licenses from authorities and will the licensing cost be borne by the Client.UNOPS reply:The Design Certificate will be provided by the Design Review Team from UNOPS HQ, after checking the provided design and construction documents and answering any questions from their end accordingly. No further cost implications will be incurred by the designer from obtaining this certificate.

New clarification added: Question:The project scope requires the design of a parade square with a theatre and shading elements, and these elements require major inputs from an architect to implement the appropriate design that takes into consideration the design standards and coordinates the design with the engineering requirements.However, the qualifications requested for the key personnel does not include any architectural expertise. Can you please reconsider this issue.UNOPS reply:The bidder can assign any skilled personnel as part of the design team as a supporting staff even if it's not required by UNOPS as key personnel (additional staff will not be evaluated by UNOPS- for acknowledgement purpose only). No charge/fees will be accepted for any additional personnel or supporting staff.
