RFP-2023-130-Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant

In close collaboration with the UNAIDS Practice on Equality and Rights for All, global, regional and country focal points, the consultant is expected to provide monitoring and evaluation support related to the “Education Plus Initiative”.

Responsibilities
The consultant is expected to provide lead support to the following key tasks and deliverables:
1. Implementation of a monitoring and reporting framework.
2. Integration of new quality data sources for indicators into the monitoring and reporting framework and reporting on them.
3. Quarterly compilation of data to assess progress related to implementation of the Education Plus initiative in 15 countries (including data and indicators available with other stakeholders).
4. Monthly compilation of related strategic information, evidence and production of analytical outputs (e.g. in excel and ppt and/or separate narrative reports, factsheets or other supportive materials) in support of the Education Plus initiative.
5. Monthly dissemination and compilation of the evidence/findings/data through the UNAIDS platforms such as AIDSinfo, UNAIDS main web‐site, as well as co‐sponsor web‐sites.
6. Monitoring and reporting support to the 15 Education Plus champion countries.
7. Perform other related tasks of the Education Plus Initiative, as may be assigned.

The work is to be conducted over 110 non-consecutive days between 01 February 2024 and 31 December 2024. For details on the activities and expected outcomes please refer to the attached RFP document.
