Description
This Scope of Requirements (SOR) defines the requirement of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) to establish a Long-Term Agreement/Contract for the supply and delivery of medications and vaccines to the UN Compound, Erbil for one (1) year period. Upon receipt of a UNAMI/Supply Release Order, the prospective Contractor/s will be required to: a) Acknowledge the SRO within 5 Calendar days (CD) confirming availability of the SRO’s items/quantities and required delivery date. b) Supply and deliver all ordered items/quantities at UNAMI Compound ERBIL, Kurdistan Region of Iraq (Incoterms 2020 - DAP) within 15 CDs after acknowledging the requirement as indicated in a) above. Overall, the Contractor must be able to deliver the requirements stated in the SRO within fifteen (15) CDs from receiving the SRO/PO (Purchase Order). c) It is to be noted that the UN does not guarantee any minimum quantity to be purchased during the term of the contract (s). 1.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies will be requested to complete a UNGM Registration at level Basic/1 or above. 2.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
