Description
1.The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to engage the services of a qualified Contractor for Security Enhancement project at UNAMI International Zone, Baghdad, Iraq in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, scope of work, general conditions, and other related documents. 2.The Contractor/Vendor (Contractor and Vendor are used interchangeably in this document and are intended to have the same meaning as described in this document) shall provide material, equipment, tools, apparatus, accessories, manpower, professionals, all other related requirements, and preliminaries to successfully finish the required works. 3.Movement and escort of materials, workers to and from UNAMI compound in the international zone in Baghdad-Iraq, shall be the Contractor’s responsibility. 4.Contractor is responsible for all its staff safety and safety measurements, warning signs and tapes required to keep the working place out of any risk. 5.Contractor is responsible for the protection of all adjacent areas against damages. In case of damage, it is the Contractor’s responsibility to repair the damage to the exact condition it was before project commencement if the damage was caused by the contractor. 6.Quantities in the BoQ and the drawings are only for guidance, and it is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify the accuracy of such quantities.
