Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) is seeking a qualified Contractor to deliver Height Safety and Telecommunications Rigging Training courses. The courses are aimed at certifying ICT field staff working at height in the United Nations (UN) Peacekeeping Missions and renewing the certification for those staff members who are already certified. The Contract will have an initial duration of three (3) years, with an option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each. Over the aggregated 5-year period, the Contract will cover the following rigging training sessions & internationally recognized certification for working on communication towers: - Up to five (5) sessions of Telecoms Tower Rigging, Safety, and Rescue Certification; - Up to fifteen (15) sessions of Telecoms Safety and Rescue Re-certification training. The courses will be delivered onsite at any of the following UN Missions: - RSCE – Regional Service Centre in Entebbe (Uganda); - UNIFIL – United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Naqoura (Lebanon); - UNSOS – United Nations Support Office in Somalia, Mogadishu (Somalia) or alternatively In Mombasa (Kenya); - UNAMA – United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, Kabul (Afghanistan); - MINUSCA - United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic, Bangui (Central African Republic). Delivery and location of the courses will be subject to the actual UN operational requirements. Additionally, the course schedule within the Mission area will be subject to previous confirmation of favorable security conditions from the hosting Mission.
