Provision of Learning Experience exchange: Nutrition Sensitive agriculture

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (lFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome, Italy, hereby solicits proposals for the Provision of Learning Experience exchange: Nutrition Sensitive agriculture Services. By 'learning experience' IFAD is seeking a vendor to design a tailor-made field mission to a host country to address specific learning needs around themes that the vendor will identify through discussions with key resource people and secondary research. The vendor will consider IFAD's approach to integrating nutrition with gender, youth and climate. The leaming experiences aim to promote practical and experiential learning around selected nutrition sensitive approaches in rural contexts. The main objective is to build knowledge and develop capacity on nutrition sensitive agriculture and food systems to achieve quality of implementation, bring interventions to scale and drive innovation in the participants projects and for IFAD's nutrition sensitive portfolio. The services requested are outlined in the following four phases: Design, Preparatory, Implementation, Follow-up. The service provider will submit a final report covering all phases. This report will describe each of the activities of the learning experience, including the activity objective, the results, lessons leamed and recommendations for integration into lFAD' s projects. The report will include in the annex each of the innovation plans.
