TOR_National Consultant - Stakeholder consultations and the design of an action plan/road map on enterprise formalization in Solomon Islands.
The ILO CO-Suva in collaboration with the ILO Enterprise Formalization team in Geneva are looking for a national consultant to develop a draft national action plan/roadmap on supporting informal enterprises to transition towards sustainable growth and formalization in the Solomon Islands, mainly in the cocoa sector. The action plan will focus on initiatives to support pathways to formality for informal enterprises by making it easier, more attractive (through incentives) and more feasible to formalize (through productivity and business growth) while making informality less attractive.
The objective of this consultancy is to provide technical support to an international consultant (to be recruited) in the preparation of an action plan/road map to promote the formalization of informal economic units in the Solomon Islands.
