Updating and testing of the National Animal Identification, Registration and Traceability System (NAITS) software for the Caribbean region.

The selected service provider is expected to: a) Review all relevant documentation (legislative reports, documents from already existing systems in the countries, documentation of the NAITS software, and the Customization plans) to get a clear understanding of the NAITS system and the needs of the countries. During this process, the service provider should be in close collaboration with the FAO NAITS team in Georgia for clear instruction and details about the system. On basis of the provided documentation the service provider will enable access to Release 1 of the NAITS. b) Liaise and ensure active communication with the country project teams and the FAO project team to ensure appropriate understanding of the individual country needs for upgrading of the system within the frame of agreed quantity of days allocated to each country, amounting to a Release 2 of the NAITS for each country. During this period the service provider will maintain a tracking system (e.g. Gitlab) where communication with countries will be recorded. c) Upon finalization of the upgrades of the newly customized systems the service provider will provide warranty until finalization of the contract.
