CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Important: The purpose of this call for EOI is to identify appropriate suppliers who can potentially fulfil the requirements. The present call for EOI does not constitute an invitation to tender. Only suppliers deemed qualified by ITC will receive the invitation to tender.

Terms of Reference (summary):

The purpose of this project is to provide sources of information for our online Market Price information platform to continuously improve our intelligence tracking capabilities and provide SMEs/customers in developing countries with the clarity to make critical strategic analysis and make a better-informed decision to improve their competitiveness through access to relevant product specific real time market price information.

We are thus researching a vendor capable to provide wholesale market prices in agricultural commodities (fresh fruit and vegetables, Grains and Pulses, Oilseeds, Nuts, Oils and Fats, culinary spices and herbs, Agricultural Soft Commodities, Dairy/Livestock, Fish and Seafood, Cut flowers and Ornamental plants), delivered on a daily basis through an API. Additional agricultural sectors to the existing list provided by ITC and provision of news on major changes or events in agricultural sectors available through API will also be considered.

ITC will only invite potential service providers that comply with at least the below listed minimum qualifications and experience criteria. These criteria will be re-evaluated at the tender stage to ensure compliance and suitability.

Pre-selection criteria that the applying companies should be able to fulfil:

1. Broad-based experience in the area of the selected sectors covering a diverse range of crops, products and markets;
2. Proven professional experience in providing market insights and market data for these sectors;
3. Extensive contacts throughout the value chains of the above aforementioned product lists in the national markets;

ITC invites interested companies/organizations to forward their Expression of Interest (EOI) by email before the closing date to ITC Procurement Services at: lagier@intracen.org

Please submit any relevant document to support the company’s pre-selection according to the above listed criteria. Please also include your UNGM vendor ID number (6 digits), the company full name and address and e-mail of contact and the reference of this EOI (2022-51-EL) in your response. If not registered with ITC/UNOG or UNGM, please follow the Procedure for Registration as Potential Vendor at www.ungm.org as soon as possible so to provide your UNGM vendor ID.

ITC reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.

Please note that only those companies considered qualified by ITC for this project will be invited to participate in this procurement exercise.
