New clarification added: Dear Bidder,Please note the below-raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref."Answer 1: Estimated Total subprojects are: 52 Estimated Supply subprojects are: 226 Estimated Larger Urban subprojects are: 277"Question 1: Does that mean we will need to visit 226 plus 277 project sites within the 2 year period? Please refer to the modified clarification. Estimated Total subprojects are: 278 those 278 subproject are divided in below two categories:5- Estimated Supply subprojects are: 526- Estimated Larger Urban subprojects are: 226Question 2: In the ToR it mentions that For supply and installation of equipment: 2 site verifications are to be done, and for For larger urban sub- projects: 5 site visits. These visits, are that in total per the subproject lifetime (and not per quarter)? Which would mean that according to the total of subprojects stated above, we would need to carry out 452 site visits for Supply subprojects, and 1135 site visits for Large Urban Projects? The project is an infrastructure project, so in some cases, the status of the sub-projects will be either in the design or tendering phase, so there will not be physical site check at this phase, and it will be shifted to the next month where there will be implementation. So to answer your question. There should be: 104 visits to the supply subprojects.1130 visits to the larger urban subproject. These visits must be conducted during the time of TPM assignment. The number of visits that shall be conducted on a monthly basis will be based on the progress of the project in the field and the plan of TPM firm shared with UNOPS. But the main end goals is that 104 visits shall be conducted to the supply subprojects.1130 visits shall be conducted to the larger urban subproject Estimated Total subprojects are: 278 those 278 subproject are divided in below two categories:1- Estimated Supply subprojects are: 522- Estimated Larger Urban subprojects are: 226 Question 3: Just to be sure - is it required to do site verification on all sub-projects, or is it possible to develop a representative sample of fewer sub-projects to be more cost effective? It is required to do site visits to all sub-projects/ No sample size. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.
