New clarification added: Question 11: 11.1. DAP is delivered at Place. What are the taxes payable in Yemen and how far is the Warehouse in Yemen from the port. We need to find out.Answer:No taxes are payable at Yemen as all UNOPS imports are tax exempted, the warehouse location coordinates will be send to you soon.11.2. Taxes to be paid both Indirect and Customs Duty. Does UN have Tax Exemption, can we get it in writing from them.Answer:UNOPS are exempted from all direct taxes including customs duties, however, local suppliers might be approached by the tax authority to pay annual sales tax on the their total sales which can include UNOPS contract, in this case UNOPS can do nothing because this is indirect tax imposed on the supplier and not on UNOPS.11.3. Insurance Cover to get the Insurance Rates , When the bid says net of , does it mean UNOPS will bear the customs duty and taxes . Did not understand this especially taxes on Commodities such as fuel , what is this tax they are referring to. Who will do the clearance of the goods at the port.?Answer: As per DAP INCOTERM insurance to destination is supplier responsibilityUNOPS will not bear any customs duties nor taxes, however, UNOPS will handle the customs clearance and duty exemption process at the destination port, should the supplier share consistent shipping documents as per UNOPS logistics guidelines.

What is the weight per Manhole Cover and Frame?Answer: Please note that the weight per manhole cover as per the manufacturer standard is acceptable as long as the cover carries a weight load of about 40 tons for class D 400. And carry weight loads about 25 tons for class C 250, also an amendment of RFQ_Section_III_lot_2_Returnable_Bidding_Forms_Amendment will be published soon.9.2. We would like to know a little bit more about the special keys for the locking system. What knid of keys. Please provide more information.Answer: Please refer to the RFQ technical specifications 9.3. Please provide clear photos of both sides of the manhole covers. Or drawings.Answer: Please note that , as the attached drawing is high resolution, you can copy the available photo / drawing in itam 3.1 past in a new page and zoom in as much as you need Question 10: 10.1. Are these pipes used for industrial waste water?Answer: No it is for domestic wastewater10.2. What is the pH value for your strong acids and bases? Please send editable copy for ( Form C Technical Quotation for the three lots ) Answer : Please follow the following steps:Download the documents Open it Always go to File in the ribbon, hit Save As, and select the Word 97-2003 format.In the window that comes up, go to Save >> Save files in this format and select Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc). Now hit ok.Please reflect on these steps as you need .
