RFQ/2022/41269Q 1 -We have an inquiry about Item Section Bill No.3: Item No. 1.3 for the supply and installation of a filter layer (membrane) of 1.8 mm thick non-woven synthetic fibers and 220 g/m2 of polystyrene in accordance with DIN 53855 ...etc:The inquiry is as follows?1- Clarify the mechanism of supply, installation and implementation of the insulation layer (membrane) for the excavation floor covering, according to the text of the above item, is it-?A - Is the insulation cloth wrapper around the pipe only to be installed and executedB - Or is the implementation and installation of the insulation cloth layer in a (U) shape for each excavation trench (from the level of the top of the excavation, passing through from the bottom of the? pipeline level?C - or something else?D - Determine areas required to implement the layer of insulation and cladding in the schemeAns 1 - When the groundwater table is above the trench bottom, the water level must be lowered to at least the trench bottom (preferably about 200 mm below) prior to the preparation of the bed, different techniques may be used depending on the nature of the native material for sandy and silty soils. The filter layer (Membrane) Geotextile DIN 53855 is one of the techniques that we expect to use for filtration and protection as we are working in the coastal area. New clarification added: Dear Bidder,Please note the below-raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2022/412691. A formal debutation from the owner side to organize the alternative road according to the met proposal. It is one of the essential conditions for HSSE. 2. Execution difficulties if the water level raised with knowing that it wasent meantioned in the tender.Please refer to the scope of work and technical specification in addition that in the BoQ stated clearly in Item No 2.1 that Dewatering is unit priced item. 3. Filling materials around the pipes from all sides to the upper layers are not received.Please refer to the scope of work and technical specification “Bedding Material and Trench Backfill “and the Standard drawing of typical bedding details. 4. The real prosection was not mentioned in the tender. 5. It is cleared from the air prosection that the drilling reaches the level of the water surface,and this was not mentioned in the tender,so is this calculated at a depth of 3.5 to 4.5 and above ? Please refer to the scope of work and technical specification “Bedding Material and Trench Backfill “and Standard drawing of typical bedding details.6. levels for all work points are not avilable and their importance is to infer the depth of the old manholes and extensions . Please refer to the Drawing profile you can find all the ground and invert levels ...etc . 7. It is noted that the old lines are very close to the new ones ,and therfore it is necessory to know the horizental dimention of the distance between the line and the other. Please refer to the design of sewerage project report 8. The manholes in the tender are mentioned in a number less than the number shown in the drawings.please clarify Please be careful in counting the number of manholes as the largest number in the drawing is 34 while it is actually 37 as there are sub-numbering such as (MH 14, and MH 14 A). 9. Filling materials around the pipes was not received. Please refer Standard drawing of typical bedding details. and design of sewerage project report 10. Demand and illustration of the tubes for the upper layers.
