1. The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a requirement for the provision, installation and commissioning of a Digital X-Ray Machine, including spare parts, accessories, consumables, and establishment of a Long-Term Agreement (LTA)/Contract for the provision of on-site Maintenance and Repair Services at the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Naqoura hospital 2. The Contractor will have the responsibility to: a) Supply, lnstall and commission the X-Ray Machine, printer, spare parts and accessories; and b) Provide post-installation Maintenance and Repair Services on-site at UNIFIL based on a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) which will be established for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1) or part thereof, subject to continued requirement and the extension of UNIFIL’s mandate, availability of funds and satisfactory performance of the Contractor. The maximum contract duration shall be 5 (five) years. 3. For the purpose of establishing a contract, UNIFIL will undertake a competitive bidding exercise in the future and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement. 4. The full technical specifications will be provided with the solicitation package to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI. 5. Please note, this REOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNIFIL reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
