Description
The UNGSC requires a Contractor to perform the engineering works/services for the repair of two (2) reinforced concrete emergency stairs outside one of the buildings at the UNGSC in Brindisi – Italy. The project will be divided into two (2) phases: Phase 1 - EXECUTIVE DESIGN, consisting but not limited to the activities below: - Preparation of the executive design draft (architectural design and related specifications/technical documents) - Work plan (Gantt chart or similar) - Contractor's safety plan - Produce the executive design and secure the required approvals Phase 2 - CONSTRUCTION, consisting but not limited to the activities below: - Supervision of works - Mobilization - Removal and re-installation of outdoor furnishing and any other items impeding the execution of works - Demolition and reconstruction of deteriorated concrete parapets - Anti-rust re-alkalizing treatment to protect the iron armor with anti-corrosion alkaline mortar - Concrete repairing - Painting of concrete surface - Scaffolding or man lift platforms for external use - Disposal of Materials - Site cleaning The tender will be treated as a lump sum (l’appalto e’ aggiudicato a corpo) following UNGSC’s conceptual design and guidelines. The full technical specifications will be provided with the solicitation package issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
