Faecal Sludge and Wastewater Management in Emergencies – Treatment Products

UNICEF Supply Division is seeking to better understand, from suppliers and manufacturers, whether there are products on the market for treatment of faecal sludge and wastewater that fit UNICEF’s needs. Product requirements is outlined in the Target Product Profile (TPP) available in the provided link.

Proposers should respond to the Request for Information (RFI) by responding to the online survey provided in the link tab below.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a formal solicitation. We do not request bids or proposals at this stage.

The goal of the RFI is to understand to what degree products specifically for the treatment of faecal sludge and wastewater that is available on the market fits with UNICEF’s needs, outlined in the Target Product Profile, or if further R&D is needed.  UNICEF is not soliciting information on other parts of the FSM Sanitation Chain at this time.

The provided information will not be contractually binding.

The requested information will only be used by UNICEF for internal planning purpose. All submissions will be treated confidentially.

A response to this RFI does not automatically ensure that you will be selected to participate in a tender or be selected for procurement. UNICEF will not be responsible for the costs incurred by you in preparing and submitting the information requested.

UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the RFI and/or any future solicitation process. UNICEF also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing any future tender documents.
