Installation and service contract of Integrated Public Announcement (P. A.) and Intercom Systems for UNFSB (Forward Support Battalion) Compound, UNAMI, Baghdad International Airport, Baghdad, Iraq

1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement to enter into a contract for the provision of installation and service contract for the Integrated the Public Announcement (P.A.) and Intercom system for UNAMI premises at BIAP, Baghdad. 2.0 The post warranty for the requested installations shall be initial one (1) year period starting from the date when systems are being fully installed and tested. The UN shall have the option of extension for Four (4) years, one year at a time, under the same terms and conditions subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds and continuation of UNAMI mandates. 3.0 The requirement of system can be divided into two main categories: 3.1 Integration/ Installation of Public Announcement / Emergency System, and 3.2 Integration / installation of fixed Intercom Systems on main and egress gates with remote closure and operation controls from designated security operations room. 4.0 The successful supplier shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, personnel, supervision and other items necessary (including spare part) to perform repair and upgrade as required and defined in the Statement of Works (SOW), to be provided with solicitation document. Vendor shall provide list of spare parts with unit price, which shall be charged after replacement according to the price list which is to be included in the vendors offer. 5.0 Technical data requirement for Public Announcement System (P.A) 5.1 Within operating temperatures of -10 to + 60 Celsius 5.2 All materials must be impact and weather resistant 5.3 Push-to-talk microphone adaptability 5.4 Digital warning horn alarm in case of emergency 5.5 Friendly sound of “bell” before voice tone announcement 6.0 Technical data requirement for Intercom System 6.1 Within operating temperatures of -10 to + 60 Celsius 6.2 All materials must be impact and weather resistant 6.3 Push-to-talk function by the client 6.4 Selectable control / unit function by the system operator 6.5 Friendly sound of “bell” before voice tone announcement 7.0 Please note on the following: 7.1 This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid. 7.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for Tender document. 7.3 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline
