UNICEF Sudan country office wishes to invite you ( Sudanese locally registered companies ) to submit your proposals for construction of Construction of twenty four (24) schools , twelve (12) in Al Gadarif and twelve (12) in Kassala as per the attached SOW , BoQ & Design .
Enclosed within the document find the following list of important documents and Annexes

Currency of the tender – Officers are accepted USD .UNICEF will transfer payment of the respective Contracts/Purchase Orders to the successful local contractor’s USD account in Sudan, and UNICEF will not be responsible for any transaction between the bank and the supplier thereafter”, please see attached UNICEF Payment instruction for Local vendors.
You are kindly requested to acknowledge receipt of this tender by replying & confirming your willingness to participate in this bidding process to arsjmoona@unicef.org. Also note that the bid closing date has been extended til 28th November 2021, (13:00 hrs. Sudan Local Time).
Bid conference: A bid conference will be held on the 1st of November 2021, 10:00hrs at UNICEF Khartoum Offices Premises. Proposer have the option of the meeting remotely, a link that will be shared to the proposers who will show interest to participate in this conference through this email arsjmoona@unicef.org Should there be any further changes to this, proposers will be informed accordingly.
Please note that all corporate entities should registered on the United Nation Global Marketplace website (https://www.ungm.org/Account/Registration) before engaging in any activity with UNICEF. In case your film is not registered yet on the UNGM site, you are advised to register and provide the UNGM number within your bid document, guidelines on how you can register as supplier on UNGM is attached in the documents area for your easy reference.

NB. Also please note that before applying you may need to familiarize yourself with the PSEA advocacy materials for UNICEF Bidders & Suppliers that published on the the link shared under the document Tab “PSEA Advocacy materials for UNICEF Bidders & Suppliers”.
Bidder’s proposal will be first reviewed to make sure that most of the following documents are duly submitted within their technical proposal in order to be considered for the technical evaluation:
- Copy of the Company registration in country of origin or Copy company registration in Sudan “i.e. Certificate of incorporation (must have been in business preferably for a minimum of 2 years)”
- Company Profile which should include: Company structure; Company line of business; Number and type of employees; at least three references of major customers/clients, exact company address for the further UNICEF verification visit, etc.
- Trade Licenses – (English or Arabis Version) – if applicable
- Other Licenses or authorizations issued by the appropriate government authority to operate business in Sudan
- Authorized Local Bank account details (i.e. Bank proof can be in format of Bank Letter, First page of Bank of Sudan Statement or Void Check)
- The company Audited Financial Statements for the past two financial years
- Proof of valid TAX Registration Certificates (Sudanese Registered Companies)
- Suppliers must not have the prior record of inappropriate conduct in ethical, social, or environmental issues (corporate responsibility)
- Acceptance of UNICEF’s General Terms and Conditions (signed Proposal Form, page 3 of RFP)
The tender contains sustainability considerations related to human rights, fundamental principles and rights at work, occupational health and safety, fairly traded goods, targeted employment of people with disabilities, etc.
The tender considers the whole life cycle cost of the service or product.
