Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) seeks Expressions of Interest for the supply and installation of a water treatment system to reduce the fluoride content of two boreholes to WHO/Kenya National Environmental Management Authority(NEMA) accepted standards of 1.5mg/L. The scope of work shall involve: i. a) Introduction of a treatment plant/unit along the water supply line independently feeding each of the 2 cafeterias and smaller units feeding each of the 8 coffee stations. The total amount of water consumed is approximately 21,000 litres per day or; b) Installation of one treatment plan near the existing underground tank for the two boreholes. The amount of water consumed from the two boreholes is 100 cubic meters per day. ii. Drainage and plumbing works; a) Drainage for waste water arising from the treatment system; Provide and install 100mm dia heavy gauge pipe (50m long) complete with necessary fittings to be buried 750mm deep below the ground and connect to the existing drainage system. b) Plumbing connection.
