REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) for THE UPDATE OF THE ROSTER OF SUPPLIERS UNHRD NETWORK 2021

The United Nations World Food Programme hereinafter referred to as the “WFP”, with its Headquarters located in Via C.G. Viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year. About 17,000 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor. The United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) is a global network of hubs that procures, stores and rapidly transports emergency supplies for the humanitarian community.

Managed by the World Food Programme (WFP), UNHRD enables humanitarian actors to pre-position and stockpile relief items and support equipment for swift delivery in emergency situations. 

The WFP-UNHRD with its office located in Brindisi, Italy, in order to update the international roster of its suppliers, is soliciting expression of interest from qualified companies with previous expertise in the supply of different items' categories. 

Interested vendors are required to submit their expression of interest following the instructions included in the attached document.
