Item 6", as there's no need to present bid security and it is replaced by a "Bid securing declaration".Q1: Do you still require valid registration certificate from Department of Finance? Maybe almost local contractors doesn't have this one.A1: A valid registration certificate from the Department of Finance is not required.

Do you have a specified paint brand?A11. Emulsion paint and Acrylic latex paint are both water based. In that sense both types are valid.No specific brand. New clarification added: Q: In Bid Schedule 8 (form for project details), it requires to put the contract value in USD. Can we put the actual contract value in Philippine currency for local contractors like us?A: Please ignore this statement in Bid Schedule 8 (from for project details), and we confirm the bidders can put the contract value in dollars(for international companies), and PHP (for local companies). For those bid in dollars, we'll use the UN exchange rate of the month of evaluation, for a fair price comparison, for your information, UN exchange rate in September is 1 dollar=49.82 Philippine Peso.

Thank you.The stamp that is referred in the schedule is a simple stamp of the company-bidder.7. In Bid Schedule 4 - Lump Sum Contract Price, it says "the financial offer must be submitted in US dollars." However, during the pre-bid meeting, it is encouraged that local contractors can bid in Philippine currency. Are we required to submit bid in US dollars? Thank you.Please ignore this statement in Bid Schedule 4, and we confirm that financial offer can be submitted in dollars(for international companies), and PHP (for local companies). For those bid in dollars, we'll use the UN exchange rate of the month of evaluation, for a fair price comparison, for your information, UN exchange rate in September is 1 dollar=49.82 Philippine Peso.

Cost of permits is to be shouldered by the GovernmentTest results for concrete, rebars, aggregates… are available 2. Do you require monthly fumigation at the project site?It hasn’t been necessary to fumigate the project site 3. Fence: What is galvanized with PVC coating?The fence is designed as a wire mesh fence of galvanised steel wire with a PVC coating 4. Wiindows: PW- are these sliding windows?Yes, they are sliding windows as seen in the drawing: A-13-f WINDOW DETAIL-1 5. For Schedule of Windows -3 : The stainless steel tube frame is 150 x 250mm x 1.6mm ,hairline finish Query: Please nominate a local supplier of this material. If this is cladded - please give us more details.UNOPS can’t nominate a local supplier. Hairline finish is a common finish in stainless steel. It’s a long, continuous and uni-directional grind marks parallel to the longitude of the panel. This finish is suitable for both interior and exterior products, as well as panels, ornaments and perimeters.
