PROVISION OF FOOD RATIONS AND BOTTLED WATER (OPTIONAL) AND OTHER SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT TO UNITE ...

The United Nations is seeking expressions of interest from qualified food suppliers and/or logistics companies to provide food rations and bottled water (optional) and other services and equipment to United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF). The resulting contract is planned to have an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for two terms of one year each (3+1+1 years) UNDOF food rations support includes two (2) separate supply chain: one (1) on the Side Alpha – with warehouse in Camp Ziouani (CZ), and the other one on Side Bravo – with wharehosue in Camp Faouar (CF). Camp Ziouani is accesible via Israeli network, meanwhile Camp Faouar is accessible via Syria network. The warehouse in Camp Ziouani is provided by the UN and shall be upgraded and operated by the Contractor, whereas the warehouse in Camp Faouar will be operated by the Mission. In Alpha side the outbound delivery within 30 kilometers of CZ shall be carried out by the Contractor, meanwhile TCC/PCC's located outside of this zone will collect their rations from the CZ Warehouse. On the Bravo side the Contractor is requested to deliver to 5 locations: (suggest to list all, if it remained the same as now it would be) Camp Fouar, Damascus, Mount Hermon POS 12, Mount Hermon POS 12 and Yafour. Additonal delivery points maybe added during the process of contract solicitations. The fulfillment of the food rations contract shall include, but is not limited to the provision of: 1. Food Items: Procurement, transportation, storage, management and delivery to a designated locations. Food items include frozen, chilled, dry, fresh and canned products or any combination thereof. Bottled Water: Procurement, storage, management and delivery to a designated locations. 3. Warehouse: Provision, upgrade, management and operation of a warehouse in Camp Ziouani, including maintaning of reserves for dry, canned, froozen items, as well as storage of bottled water and Combat Rations Packs. 5. Containers: provision of 10' and 20' refregeration containers, on a lease basis to the Mission. Containers must meet ISO standards. Full details of the requirement will be provided during the formal solicitation which is planned to be issued in the second half of October 2021.
