New clarification added: What will be the total amount of per diem to be distributed ? Will UNOPS have the cash on site and our task will be to distribute it or do we have to get the cash ourselves?→ The total amount of per diem is listed in the Schedule of Requirements as we specified the number of participants to receive per diem per workshop. The selected vendor is expected to distribute the cash themselves, not through UNOPS. I don't see any award criteria. Could you please clarify how you plan to award the contract? Is it the lowest compliant price ?→ The award criteria would be the lowest compliant price. Do you have any requirements regarding the quality of the venue ?→ The venue must be equipped with 1) all the items specified in the Requirement of Schedule, 2) located in the central part of Khartoum, and 3) big enough to accommodate the number of participants listed in the Schedule of Requirements. Is there a minimum number of star for the hotel?→ There is no minimum number of stars for the hotel. However the hotel must be in close proximity to the meeting venue if not located in the same place. Is it mandatory to have the hotel and the meeting venue in the same place ?→ Please refer to the answer above. Please confirm that the meeting venue should accommodate roughly 40 persons (30 participants + staff)→ The meeting venue must accommodate at least 35 people or more. Please confirm that regarding flight transportation, you request a fee to book the ticket and not the cost of the ticket itself. Indeed we can't forecast the price of the ticket as it will vary depending on the date you provide us with the final list of participants. →We would expect the selected vendor to book the flight transportation and hence the approximate cost for flight must be included in the quote. Regarding local transportation in Khartoum, is it an individual taxi or a minivan for the 10 persons?→ The local transportation within Khartoum is for the workshop participants and hence we expect a minivan or bigger bus to transport the participants instead of individual taxis.
