UNDP Iraq is looking for a responsible party to support the implementation of the Community-Based Reconciliation and Reintegration (C2RI) in Iraq, specifically the pillar related to the improvement of livelihoods as a vehicle for strengthening social cohesion and community reintegration.

 

The project aims to support the socio-economic integration of people-at-risk of exclusion and marginalization through inclusive livelihoods and sustainable employment and eventually enhancing self-reliance and inclusion prospects of the targeted beneficiaries. The a responsible party will recruit and select a total of 2,600 beneficiaries of returnees, IDPs, and people at risk of marginalization, while giving the due attention to gender equality with an even distribution (50% men and 50% women) in all project activities.

 

The  responsible party is expected to carry out; evidence-based community outreach to mobilize the selection of all beneficiaries based on a pre-identified eligibility and selection criteria that will be developed based on vulnerability and in line with the criteria articulated by the Emergency Livelihoods Cluster (ELC) as well as in close coordination with the local peace mechnasims, local authorities and UNDP team. The 2,600 beneficiaries will be distributed among the following three livelihoods support interventions:
