Description
Given Marka Camp Improvement Project’s commitment to quality in camp improvement projects, MCIP is seeking the appointment of a reputable qualified surveyor for carrying out the scope of work outlined hereunder.

a)Preparing all survey documents needed for Marka Camp as per requirements below, including fieldwork data collection, data collection from relevant organizations or departments, or any other data collection method. The entire camp must be surveyed (approximate area is 0.92 square kilometres).The survey must include also the immediate surroundings of the camp by no less than 20 meters.
b)The consultant is required to submit documents in accordance with the deliverables indicated hereunder and in the annexes.
c)The Consultant must attend all meetings convened by Project Manager or his representative and shall advice/ report to the Project Manager on all matters relating to the duties the Consultant has assumed under an eventual Contract.

DELIVERABLES AND TARGET COMPLETION
1 Detailed work plan for the physical survey and the as-built survey, identifying time frame, resources, and geographical location for each survey sectors in coordination with the project manager, using agreed planning tool such as primavera or MS project.

2 The following maps resulted from the “Physical Survey” to be submitted as separate CAD files as follows:
a.Location Map
b.Topographic Map
c.Camp Physical Base Maps

2.1 All required plans (see appendices) to be submitted in two digital copies each on a separate DVD (including AutoCAD drawings, aerial photo and reports), and two hardcopies

2.2 Final digital maps for the camp, using CAD software and following the Layers Guidelines and requirements in annexes. The digital copy will also include ready-to-print maps, complete with frame, unique ID number, UNRWA logo, title of surveyor, date of survey, and project title. The digital submission will be in the form of four CAD files: one location CAD file, one topographical CAD file, one physical base CAD file with all information provided in layers as per requirements.

2.3 Hardcopy maps of the camp, as per the requirements in the appendices in a scale of 1:100, 1:200, 1:500, and 1:1000 in coordination with Project Manager and Urban Planner. The maps will follow and present zoning division system (all the camp by dividing the camp into a grid of appropriate areas).

2.4 Each map will contain a key to identify its location on the general camp map.

2.5 Two hard copy maps of the complete camp location plan to be printed on A0 paper (1189 x 841 mm) paper size with appropriate scale as agreed on with project manager.

2.6 A latest or later aerial photo of the camp with identified year of reference and scale (resolution 60 pixel/cm or the next best resolution that can be obtained), to be submitted as a hardcopy on A0 size, as a layer within the CAD file, and as an independent digital file.

3 The following CAD files resulted from the as-built survey to be submitted as follows:

3.1 Two hard copy macro scale plans locating all targeted UNRWA installations, with the installation’s name on A0 (1189 x 841 mm) paper size with appropriate scale as agreed on with project manager and urban planner.

3.2 For each targeted installation, two hard copy plot/site plans and floor plans to be printed on A3 (420 x 297 mm) paper size with appropriate scale as agreed on with project manager and urban planner.

3.3 Two hard copy macro scale roof plans locating all shelters within the camp’s boundary, with the assigned IDs on A0 (1189 x 841 mm) paper size with appropriate scale as agreed on with project manager and urban planner.
