Proposal for presentation on software/tools for translation, editing, outsourcing and voice recognition
REQUEST FOR PRESENTATIONS
The International Annual Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology (JIAMCATT) will hold its annual session from Wednesday 27 April until Friday 29 April 2011 on the premises of the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization in Turin (Italy). This meeting should gather some 150 specialists from more than 60 international organizations. It invites software companies and commercial representatives to submit proposals for presentations and/or demonstrations that would be held outside the JIAMCATT plenary session in the following areas:
- tools for translators, including computer-assisted translation and machine translation
- tools for terminology, including computer-assisted terminology
- tools for outsourcing
- tools for editors
- multilingual document management systems
- voice recognition in the six official languages of the United Nations (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) and the 23 official languages of the European Union (Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovene, Spanish and Swedish).
Space and Internet connections will be provided. For safety reasons, companies are not allowed to invite on the premises other participants than their own staff.
