The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) intends to establish a contract for the provision of rental service of light, medium, heavy buses with operators and taxi service with driver at the UNICTF, Valencia (Spain). The United Nations Information and Communications Technology Facility (UNICTF) in Valencia, Spain has identified a requirement for the establishment of a long-term contract for the rental of light, medium, heavy bus with operator and taxi service. The vehicles are requested to be rented with a driver and will be used on an “as and when” required basis for the movement of personnel to and from the UNICTF’s premises in Avenida Comarques Del Pais Valencia 2, Quart de Poblet, Valencia – Spain. For this purpose, the bus and taxi service will be structured into four (4) routes: a. UNICTF to/from Valencia downtown b. UNICTF to/from Valencia Civilian Airport c. Valencia Civilian Airport to/from Valencia downtown d. UNICTF to/from outside Valencia (up to 30km) The Company shall provide the following category of vehicles: Buses a) Light category (driver + 19 passengers) b) Medium category (driver + 34 passengers) c) Heavy category (driver + 60 passengers) Taxis a) Taxi up to 5 seats (driver + 4 passengers) b) Taxi up to 7 seats (driver + 8 passengers) Subcontracting will be allowed for the portion pertaining to taxi service. The resulting contract will be established for an initial period of three (3) years, with the UN's sole option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1).
