Call for Proposal-Bangladesh Monsoon Flood 2020
The Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland acting through the Department for International Development ("DFID") is supporting the Government of Bangladesh through the Strengthening Humanitarian Preparedness and Response (SHPR) programme. The aim of SHPR is to provide more effective, timely and predictable humanitarian support to refugees and to vulnerable communities throughout Bangladesh following disasters. It aims to strengthen the ability of the Government to meet the needs of these groups more effectively, speed up post-disaster action, and to reduce the scale and impact of disasters when they occur.
This call for proposals is released under the Emergency Response and Recovery Fund (ERRF) of the SHPR programme and is managed by UNOPS, the SHPR Fund Management Agency. Final decisions regarding the selection of proposals and the release of funds will be made by DFID and UNOPS.
