REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 1. The United Nations Ecnonomic Commision for Africa, seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from duly registered companies/consultancy/firm for the design of a “MADE IN CENTRAL AFRICA” label, its brand guide, its physical stickers and its online channels at SRO-CA/ECA in Yaounde, Cameroon. More specifically, the retained vendor would be require perform the following services: a.Recruit Label designer through open competition for nationals of ECCAS member States and pre-selection of 10 best choices; then remunerate designer of selected bid by the contracting authority represented by ECA. b.Define and design branded guide for the label and its attributes c.Hire lawyer or jurist to obtain author’s rights on the label for The Commission of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC), the General Secretariat of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), the Subregional Office for Central Africa of the UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and Union of Employers’ Associations of Central Africa (UNIPACE) d.Build website and social media channels for the Label e.Produce a defined number of the physical stickers of the Label 2. UNECA SRO-CA will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue a Request for proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their abilitity to fulfill their requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UN Vendor registration for level 1 on the vendor database accessible on ungm.org (new vendor only). A detail Scope of Work (SOW) will be provided to companies short listed for receipt of the RFP documents. Interested vendors must also be able to provide a licence to show that they are authorized to operate in cameroon and should have an office in Yaounde. 3. The EOI should specify brief relevant information about the company including the company's profile, capacity/capability and experience. Vendors will be shortlisted based on their ability to provide the relevant documents showing that they are have the capacity to perform this task. 4. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of proposal. 5. UNECA SRO-CA reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of peformance in the subject field of activities and submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the RFP documents. UNECA SRO-CA reserves the right to reject EOI's received after the deadline indicated below. 6.
