New clarification added: Q18. On the mitgation meansures for Covid-19, what do a supplier expect to do?A18. Please refer to the e-sourcing under qualification which states "Mitigation Measures on the Supply and Delivery of the items: Bidder are required to submit at least 1 page document highlighting mitigation measures on how the items will be deliver should they be awarded in the light of the Covid-19 outbreak". Bidders are required to present their measures accordingly should they be awarded the contract. Please note this requirement is check and clarify, and UNOPS will will sought for clarifcation if needed.

Please help to verify Section II: Schedule of Requirements - B Techinical specifications for Goods and comparative data table item 2.7d "Thread of the screw pasted with bolt-lock adhesive". What does bolt-lock adhesive mean? Does it use for preventing screws from loosening?A15. Yes, the bolts of the battery terminal screws must be suitably equipped to prevent loosening.Q16. What is the minimum warranty period required?A16. Kindly refer to sections II and III Technical specifications for Goods and Comparative Data Table Item# 2.1pQ17. New clarification added: Q14. With regards to technical requirement 2.6f: "Set including all screws for the assembly and 6 additional screws in stainless steel M10x30mm with all recommended washers and nuts to mount the copper cable lugs of the external battery cables *)" Would it be acceptable if terminal screws are in stainless steel but M8 instead of M10? With the assurance that M8 suffices and is compatible with our battery design.A14. The requirement stated under 2.6f is the UNOPS minmum requirement and bidders are required to submit the bid according to the ITB instruction.

New clarification added: Q12. What is the address of the final destination for shipping CPT? A12. The CPT location is Freetown (Seaport), as requested in the ITB, bidders are required to submit bid for both FCA and CPT.

New clarification added: Q9. Could you please confirm what kind of machine or vehicle these batteries will be installed in?A9. The batteries are for stationary use in off-grid power systems for rural electrification in Sierra Leone. Kindly refer to sections II and III Technical specifications for Goods and Comparative Data Table Item# 0.1 and 2.1cQ10. The contract document specified that number of cycles at 50% discharge level is 3000cycles. Advising that with OPZV technology, it is extremely difficult to guarantee that number of cycles. What they are advising is 2500-2750 cycles @50% discharge? Would this be acceptable?A10. The requirement stated under item #2.1g is the minimum requirement and therefore bidders are required to meet this minimum requirement. Kindly refer to sections II and III Technical specifications for Goods and Comparative Data Table item #2.1gQ11. In the document's there is: No alterations to its format shall be permitted and no substitutions shall be accepted. Does this mean that all documents cannot be returned from word to pdf? However, if seals and signatures are required, the documents cannot be returned in a unchanged form (in word). So we'd like to know if we can update the documents in pdf form?A11. Bidders are required to fill the Section_III_Returnable_Bidding_Forms, which is in both pdf and word doc. Bidders are required to fill the form, sign, stamp the word doc and add additional supporting document according to the ITB instructions.

There is no attached documentA4. Kindly find attached Form I: Drive Supplier Sustainability Questionnaire under the document section of the e-sourcing portal. Bidders are rquired to fill the returnable together with all sections of the Form 1.Q5. Can we provide some other documents as supplementary documents, for example, can we add our company's company profile and product brochure as supplementary materials in Form A?A5. Yes, bidders may provide additional information / document to support their bid/submission.Q6a. For the convenience of transportation, please confirm if you will accept that we place one set of battery (24 batteries) per one pallet (pallet size:1100*1100*130mm)? New clarification added: Q1 We'd like to know the FCA point designated to complete offer or we can choose the point?A1. Bidders are required to stated designated FCA Point and provide the details as required by the ITB (see Form C: Price Schedule Form under bidder's delivery data and Form D: Technical Bid Form under B. Delivery requirements and Comparative Data Table). Bidders are required to submit bid in both FCA and CPT as required by the tender. Q2. If bidder is manufacturer, do we still need to submit the Form F: Manufacturer’s Authorisation Form?A2. Bidders are required to submitted the form stating whether the bidder is a manufacturer of the offered goods or an appointed representative of the manufacturer. If you are not a manufacturer of the goods required under this ITB, a letter issued by the manufacturer authorizing you to participate in this particular ITB must be submitted with the bid in the format provided in this Form.Q3. We do not find the Drive Supplier Sustainability Questionnaire file.A3. The document is attached as Form I: Drive Supplier Sustainability Questionnaire. Kindly see amendment 1
