Fabrication and Installation of Sign Boards in Galmudug, Puntland and Hirshabelle (20/012).

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites you to submit an offer as follows:

Lot 1: Fabrication and Installation of Sign Boards in Galmudug to be completed in 40 days.
Lot 2: Fabrication and Installation of Sign Boards in Puntland to be completed in 50 days.
Lot 3: Fabrication and Installation of Sign Boards in Hirshabelle to be completed in 30 days.

The fabrication and construction of the sign boards will be guided by the following technical specification:-
- Excavation of 2No. pits each measuring 300mm square and 500mm deep for supporting the vertical 50x50x3mm SHS in concrete surround
- Fabrication of 2No. 50x50mm SHS 3mm wall thickness and 2.2m long
- Casting 300mm square concrete, 500mm deep to hold the GI pipes vertically into position
- Provision and fillet welding of 25mm square steel hollow sections, 3mm wall thickness onto the vertical GI pipes
- Provision and fixing of 1.2m*1.0m, 3mm thick steel plate to form the surface of the sign boards and affixed onto the GI pipes
- Painting of all the steel members in one (1) coat of anti-rust primer paint and two (2) coats of vinyl matt (oil) paint – white on both sides
- Printing of project details on both sides (English/Somali) the surface of the board using block letters and numbers each 50mm size with the words as provided by FAO
- A total of forty-four (44) sign boards will be fabricated and erected in 44 sites all spread across Puntland.
- A total of twenty-four (24) sign boards will be fabricated and erected in 24 sites in Galmudug.
- A total of eight (8) sign boards will be fabricated and erected in 8 sites in Hirshabele.
