The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome, Italy, hereby solicits proposals for the Provision of Support For Development And Integration Of Post-Harvest Mechanization Services in the Sorghum Value Chain In Zimbabwe – Farm P3 Pilot.

One implementing partner will be selected through this procurement process to lead the implementation of the FARM P3 pilot project in Zimbabwe. The selected service provider with experience in rural mechanization and the sorghum value chain—will be responsible for delivering the scope of work outlined in the FARM P3 Zimbabwe design document and specified in these TORs, including field-based evaluations, service provider pipeline development, and coordination with private sector and financial actors.

The activities will be implemented from the signing of the contract for a duration of 9 months. The assignment is expected to begin in mid-September 2025 and run until mid-June 2026, aligning with the timeframe of the FARM pilot and according to the timeline indicated in Table 1.

The implementing partner will be required to operate in SACP-targeted districts and coordinate closely with local stakeholders, including off-takers, Agribusiness Partnerships (APGs), district authorities, and financial institutions.
