The United Nations intends to issue a solicitation for the Provision of Metal Hat Badges, with the purpose of establishing a systems contract for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend the contract for two additional one-year periods, at the sole discretion of the UN. The United Nations Metal Hat Badge is intended to be worn on the standard United Nations blue beret primary by military and police contingents deployed with the United Nations in peacekeeping operations and Special Political Missions worldwide.
