Provision of maintenance and repair of Fleet of Vehicles in support of United Nations Headquarters in New York

1. The UN Procurement Division is seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors for the provision of vehicle maintenance and repairs to United Nations Headquarters fleet of vehicles in New York (e.g. mid size & large sedans, minivans, suburbans, fire trucks, trailers, pick up trucks, tractors, utility vehicles, box garbage trailers, cargo vans, etc.). The services required include, but not limited to, routine inspection and maintenance; replacement of major and/or minor vehicle components; precision welding and machining; engine overhauls; supply of spare parts, fluids, lubricants, etc. The United Nations expects the successful vendor to provide high quality service and workmanship. Vendors are required to utilize only genuine manufacturer parts in the maintenance and repairs of the UN fleet of vehicles. It is envisaged that the solicitation will be based on all inclusive-rates per type of maintenance, labor rates and costs of parts for repairs (not under warranty). The resulting contract(s) will be for the provision of services for an initial period of two (2) years, with an option to extend up to two (2) one (1) year periods at the UN''s option.
