Description

Unitaid is calling for a consultancy support to develop an in-depth analysis of how Unitaid’s portfolio of projects connect with, and can support, the delivery of the Global Funds’s (and wider Global Response’s) targets over 2021-2023, and to identify estimates of the potential overall impact of Unitaid on the Global Fund’s (and wider Global Response’s) investment through additional public health impact, and economic impact, such as savings and efficiencies to health programmes being delivered at scale.

  1. The work should start mid to late April 2019 and be completed by June/July 2019. It is envisaged that majority of the works are to be done by the end of May to produce the key deliverables, and the remaining time will be used for finetuning and finalization of deliverables.
  2. The engagement will requires 3-4 face-to-face meetings in Geneva, Switzerland, to work directly with the Unitaid Secretariat and to engage with key stakeholders as required.
  3. The Contractor/proposed team shall demonstrate substantive experience and expertise in the following areas:

Essential

  • Strong economic impact analysis skills
  • Strong public health impact analysis skills
  • Knowledge and experience of global health
  • Excellent stakeholder management capability
  • Excellent communication skills, with a flair for presenting compelling arguments using evidence and analysis
  • Professional proficiency in English

Desirable

  • Impact analysis of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria interventions
  • Prior experience of working with Unitaid and The Global Fund and other key stakeholders in the HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria space.
