Description
1. UNAMI has a requirement for the provision of unrestricted access to internet through Iraq’s fiber optic back bone that have to be connected to pan European fiber optic back bone. Vendor shall be able to establish connectivity in most of the UNAMI locations throughout Iraq (Baghdad International Zone, Baghdad International AirPort, Erbil, Kirkuk, Mosul, Basra). 2. The potential vendor must offer a tailor-made turnkey system (i.e., hardware, software, connectivity, support, etc.) for the required services. UNAMI requires a high-speed connectivity to make full use of the available fiber optic infrastructure in Iraq. Connections have to be dedicated, direct to provider’s fiber optic infrastructure. 3. UNAMI will require minimum of 10 Mbs download, distributed over multiple locations. With maximal download/upload ratio 2/1, which means for 10 Mbs in direction Internet -> UNAMI and minimum 5 Mbs in direction UNAMI -> Internet. Contracted bandwidth has to be guaranteed 24/7/365. The vendor must guarantee the full bandwidth capacity to be maintained at all times to allow for maximum throughput. 4. The project should be executed by a qualified and experienced company, based on Scope of work (SOW), UN General Conditions of contracts and other related documents which will be provided later on by UNAMI to qualified companies who express their interest and respond to this EOI accordingly. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly (Request for Proposal). 3. The selected vendor provide materials, equipment and manpower to succesfully complete the project as well as shall provide escort to the workers to the UNAMI Premises through out Iraq. 4. Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOI''s received after the above deadline.
