New clarification added: Question#7: Does site have already a pre-existing electrical connection for installation or should the installation be done from scratch? Answer#7: As per Answer#3 above, the site has a pre-existing electrical connection and supplier will not need start from scratch.Question#8: Is it possible to visit the site and place where the generator will be installed? Answer#8: Suppliers wishing to visit the "site" may do so anytime at the UNOPS-HTOC Office M-F between the hours of 8-4PM prior to submission deadline.

New clarification added: Question#3: Please clarify whether the bidder needs to be responsible of the installation of the Genset? If yes, please provide detailed work content and information of the premises.Answer#3: The bidder is responsible/required to “install” the generator at the designated exterior location within the UNOPS-HTOC Office in Peguyville, HAITI.By “installing” we mean after physical delivery and placement on the existing base/platform, the bidder is to ensure proper electrical connectivity between provided generator and the building using existing electrical (lines) infrastructure. Question#4: Please kindly advise whether the genset needs to be 120V or 240V?Answer#4: Per Section II – Schedule of Requirement, the generator should be able to operate under 120/240 Volts Question#5: Please kindly confirm the lead time of 8 weeks ARO is acceptable.Answer#5: Per Section II – Schedule of Requirement, and Section III, Returnable Form C in delivery “Bidder shall deliver the goods within two (2) weeks after Purchase Order signature.” Question#6: Please kindly extend the submission deadline to 20th Jul 2018.Answer#6: Unfortunately, we are currently unable to extend the tender presently.

New clarification added: Question#2: According to this tender, we would like to ask, what was the reason that this project was released? This in order to present our best offer according to your requirements.Answer#2: This tender was issued in order to replace Generator currently being use at the UNOPS-HTOC as a result of increase capacity.

New clarification added: Question#1: Is it acceptable if we guarantee after sales service directly from our HQ from Estonia, as we are not operating in Haiti?We can ensure response time within 24 hours.Answer#1: Per Section II Schedule of Requirement: “An official distributor of the generator manufacturer must be operating in Haiti, offering spare parts and maintenance services. As per the RFQ document “Official distributors for engines only or alternator only will not be considered”. As such, (perhaps just a phone or email) response time of 24 hours does not fall within the requirement if other aspect of the same requirement are not met. This will not allow physically diagnostic nor swift repair with parts being available locally.
