TThe Procurement and Contracts Unit (PCU) of United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) on behalf of the Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) hereby invites qualified service providers from all countries to submit their Expressions of Interest for the provision of comprehensive insurance services for 18 vehicles based at the OCHA Offices in Iraq The locations of the vehiles in Iraq are as follows: (i) 11 (eleven [ 7 armored and 4 soft skin]) vehicles are in use in OCHA Erbil office, (ii) 03 (three) armored vehicles in OCHA Baghdad office, (iii) 01 (one) armored vehicle in OCHA Duhok office and (iv) 01 (one) soft skin vehicle in OCHA Sulaimaniyah office. (iv) In addition, 2 Armoured vehicles for UNMM are also in use at OCHA Dohuk office. The vehicles will be used within Iraq but will also be driven to the borders of the country The Insurance Policy shall be zero deductible and cover damages and losses which include but not be limited to collision, overturning or accident, theft, vandalism, glass breakage and other physical perils, fire, external explosion, self –ignition, lightning or thunderbolt, natural disasters, falling objects, damage by animals, civil disturbance, like a riot that results in damage or destruction of cars, while in transit (including the process of loading and unloading) by road, rail, inland waterway. The insurance shall be extended to cover loss or damage of vehicle while driven off-road. The service will also include Third Party Liability insurance that will cover accidental bodily injury to a third party or death, accidental loss of or damage to property owned by the third parties caused by the UNOCHA vehicles. Excess liability coverage for the third‐party damage for the use of owned, hired or non‐owned vehicles will have the local mandated coverage of: • 500,000 USD liability limit available for damages and payment • Defense costs paid outside of liability limit • 10,000 USD medical payment coverage per person, per accident. Coverage for physical damage occurring as a result of acts of war, terrorism, strikes, riots, civil unrest, etc. will be subject to: • No changes in information as submitted • Confirmation of no known or reported loss as at date of binding • On the basis, the vehicles are staying in Iraq.
